Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work at a Correctional Institution in Smithfield, North Carolina. These are registry positions with our company.
40hrs Travel Package
Weekly Gross Pay = $1040
Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $26
Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $1246 (Hotel-770 Meals-476)
Total Weekly ($1246 is not taxed)= $2286
Feels like per hour = $57.15
$2286 div 40 hours = $57.15
Job Details:
- 4 10 hr shifts, every other weekend 1330-2200
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum one year (12 months) of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- A valid and current RN license issued by the state of North Carolina.
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
- Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. RN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English.
- Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing care/treatment to patients in accordance with medical protocols, written policies and procedures, and the NC Board of Nursing scope of practice.
- Conduct sick call/assessment
- Assisting the physician.
- Carrying out orders, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care.
- Respond to medical emergencies.
- Monitor patients for communicable diseases
- Counsels for compliance with diet, medications, and treatment.
- Respond to inquiries, medical appointments, orders medications and supplies and additional nursing care duties, as required.
