Job Description

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a RN - Psychiatric Emergency Room to work at a Facility in Torrance, CA. These are registry positions with our company.

36hrs Travel Package
Weekly Gross Pay = $1224
Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $34
Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $1925 (Hotel-1323 Meals-602)

Total Weekly ($1925 is not taxed)= $3149
Feels like per hour = $87.47
$3149 div 36 hours = $87.47

Shift Details:

  • 12 hrs
  • 36 hrs per week
  • 13 weeks only
  • Nights Weekends and Holidays

Nursing Specialty:

  • Level 1 Psychiatric ER (Required)

Assignment Details:

In need of highly skilled Registered Nurses (RN) with a
minimum of recent three (3) years of Level 1 Behavioral Health ER experience as an Emergency Room RN. RNs will be providing comprehensive care to patients struggling with mood, anxiety and other behavioral conditions in a variety of emergency room setting. RNs
will float within the assigned Facility;and/or from a Client Facility to another Client Facility as needed;and/or be scheduled to a
Workweek assignment between Facilities as needed.

The requirements are:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a RN - Psychiatric Emergency Room in an acute care setting.
  • Only qualified RN Level 1 Psychiatric ER experience profiles will be reviewed for potential assignment selection.
  • Required certifications include active RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, NIHSS Certification, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card
    (must be LA City), and proof of full COVID and seasonal Flu Vaccinations.
  • A valid and current RN license issued by the State of CA
  • A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
  • Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. RN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English.
  • MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior)
  • Fire Card
  • The LA County contract specifies that candidates must have recent experience, within the last 3 years, within the area they are staffing.

Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away
