Job Description
Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Tele-Psychiatrists to work at a facility in Staunton, VA . These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $235 / hour
*1099 Independent Contractor
Shift details:
- 5 days a week, from 7 pm to 7 am, all day Saturday, and all day Sunday.
Responsibilities:
- Will serve both forensic and general patients, which mainly include but is not limited to their assessment/evaluation, treatment, and medicine.
- Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.
- Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to an assessed medical condition.
- Refers patients to specialists and relevant patient care components as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a Tele-Psychiatrists
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
- Must have currently licensed to practice in Virginia
