Health Advocates Network is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work at a Facility in Colorado Springs, CO. This is a registry position with our company.
Pay Rate: $62 / hour
*W2
Shifts Details:
- Day 5x7.5-Hour (07: 00 - 14: 30)
- 37.5 hours/week
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
- Must have up to date certification in the state of CO
- Must hold CO SLP license or have already applied for it
- All subs need 4 references (client will reach out to them directly). Please provide 2 supervisory, 2 standard references. We just need their name, title, phone number, and email address.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Creating treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients.
- Performing screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
- Educating patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
- Keeping detailed records relating to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
- Reporting progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
