Job Description
Staff Today, a HAN Division, is currently seeking a Social Worker / Counselor to work at a facility in Pueblo, Colorado. These are registry positions with our company Staff Today.
Pay Rate: $43 / hour
Job Details:
- 8-13 week contract with the potential to extend if the need was still present.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting clients in receiving services by telephone and in person.
- Getting clients involved in beneficial activities.
- Assessing clients and gathering relevant information.
- Offering information and supporting clients and their families.
- Contacting and making referrals to other agencies and services.
- Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports.
- Participating in training, supervision, and meetings.
- Watch for signs of child abuse.
- Provide crisis intervention.
Minimum Qualifications:
- (1) year of working experience as a Social Worker / Counselor
- Candidates must be licensed in relevant field OR have an application submitted to receive a relevant license OR provide evidence that license is expected to be received in the next 3 months
- Master’ s Degree preferred
- Up to date Social Worker license in the state of CO
- Valid CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
