Job Description
Staff Today, a HAN Division, is currently seeking a Scrub Tech to work at a correctional facility in Colton, CA. These are registry positions with our company Staff Today.
Pay Rate: $58 / hour
Shifts Available:
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries.
- Sterilizing equipment and instruments.
- Stocking adequate supplies for surgery.
- Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites.
- Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies.
- Tracking surgical supplies.
- Staying up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures.
- Working well with surgeons, surgical assistant, nurses and general surgical team.
- Helping provide great patient care.
The requirements are:
- At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Scrub Tech
- A valid and current license issued by the State of CA
- Experience with instrumentation.
- Current BCLS.
- Strong understanding of surgical technology and surgical procedure.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Passionate about patient care.
