Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a School Psychology Specialist to work at a facility in Conway, AR. These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $90 / hour
*1099

Shift Details:

• Monday-Friday (40 hours per week)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a School Psychology Specialist
• Must be Certified as a School Psychology Specialist by the Arkansas Department of Education.
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
• Must have up to date certification in the state of AR

Responsibilities:

• Assessing students'needs: Conducting psychological evaluations to understand students'academic, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• 
  Providing counseling: Offering individual or group therapy to students dealing with issues like anxiety, depression, or social difficulties.
• 
  Consulting with staff: Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies for supporting students'success.
• 
  Developing interventions: Creating plans to help students with learning difficulties, behavioral problems, or emotional issues.
• 
  Promoting mental health: Organizing programs to raise awareness about mental health and emotional well-being in the school community.
• 
  Crisis intervention: Providing support during emergencies, such as trauma or incidents affecting students'safety and well-being.
