Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a School Psychology Specialist to work at a facility in Conway, AR. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $90 / hour
*1099
Shift Details:
Monday-Friday (40 hours per week)
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a School Psychology Specialist
Must be Certified as a School Psychology Specialist by the Arkansas Department of Education.
Ability to build rapport with patients
Compassionate and caring demeanor
Familiarity with medical terminology
CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
Must have up to date certification in the state of AR
Responsibilities:
Assessing students'needs: Conducting psychological evaluations to understand students'academic, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
Providing counseling: Offering individual or group therapy to students dealing with issues like anxiety, depression, or social difficulties.
Consulting with staff: Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies for supporting students'success.
Developing interventions: Creating plans to help students with learning difficulties, behavioral problems, or emotional issues.
Promoting mental health: Organizing programs to raise awareness about mental health and emotional well-being in the school community.
Crisis intervention: Providing support during emergencies, such as trauma or incidents affecting students'safety and well-being.
