Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Revenue Analyst to work at a facility in New York, New York. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $40 / hour
Job Description:
Review and analysis college bank reconciliations. Work with college to provide feedback and guidance on any discrepancies.
Analyze college's Bursar Department and Continuing Education Department trial balances for irregularities in the general ledger accounts. Work with the colleges to remediate any accounting discrepancies.
Analyze revenue information to ensure completeness and accuracy of revenue records;identify reasons for revenue month-to-month variances and out of period adjustments.
Compile and prepare materials for audit and external compliance activities, assist in preparing audit schedules and providing support for auditor requests.
Compile and/or propose accounting entries in either treasury accounting or general ledger for review and approval by supervisor using back up documentation.
Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as necessary.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Knowledge of Peoplesoft ERP.
Qualifcations:
BA required
Accounting / financial experience preferred
