Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Occupational Therapist to work at a Facility in Falls Church, VA. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $61 / hour
Duties:
Assess patients’ physical, mental, and developmental abilities
Create individualized therapy plans
Help patients improve daily living skills (dressing, eating, bathing)
Provide therapy to improve motor skills and coordination
Recommend assistive devices and adaptive equipment
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and techniques
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans
Document therapy sessions and patient outcomes
Work with doctors and healthcare team
Support patients in becoming more independent
Minimum Qualifications:
At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Occupational Therapist
Must have up to date credentials in the state of VA
A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
Ability to build rapport with patients
Compassionate and caring demeanor
Familiarity with medical terminology
