Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work at a facility in Ithaca, NY. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $79 / hour
Shift details:
Saturday - Thursday, 8 hour shifts
QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensed in New York State (RN)
First Aid Certified
CPR Certified
AED Certified
GENERAL DUTIES:
Maintain confidential medical records of student participants and chaperones
Respond to medical emergencies
Check-in camper and staff medication upon arrival
Set up medical room and conduct inventory of supplies
Establish and follow appropriate medical routines*
Post hours for daily medications and health call
Complete accident/incident reports when needed
On camp trips, the nurse would be responsible for administering first aid if needed
Follow procedures as outlined in the Camp Safety Plan
Be familiar and strive to follow any applicable federal, state, local regulations, association health and safety policy/procedure/requirement and standards
Be aware of, and adhere to, established NYGEAR UP policies and procedures.
*Medical Routines include record keeping in the daily medical log, disposal of medical waste, managing and safeguarding medications, and ensuring medications are delivered as per NYS Guidance
