Staff Today Inc. (STI) is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work at a Facility in Espan ola, NM These are registry positions with our company Staff Today Inc.
Travel Pay Rate
Weekly Gross Pay $30.00 x 40 $1, 200.00
Weekly Travel Stipend - Non taxed - (Lodging $560 and M&I $210) $770
Total Pay Weekly ($770 is not taxed) $1, 970.00
Blended Rate ($1, 970 div 40 hrs.) Feels like $49.25
Shifts Available:
- 8: 00 TO 5: 00 PM
- MON-FRI
Job Responsibilities:
A Registered Nurse is responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities in the outpatient clinic setting. Duties include communicating with Doctors and other nurses about patient needs, administering IVs and medications to aid their patients' health and using medical equipment to monitor patients' vital signs.
Registered Nurse duties and responsibilities
- Observe and record patient behavior
- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests
- Collect patient health history
- Provide excellent customer service to the patients and co-workers
- Counsel and educate patients and their families on treatment plans
- Administer medication, change wound dressings and care for other treatment options
- Read and interpret patient information, making treatment decisions when appropriate with approval from the provider.
- Consult with supervisors and doctors to decide on the best treatment plan for patients
- Direct medical assistances, nurse assistants and nurse aides
- Research ways to improve healthcare processes and improve patient outcomes
The requirements are: At least 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse
- A valid and current RN license – with no disciplinary action
· A valid and current CPR card
· Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. RN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English.
