Job Description
Staff Today, a HAN Division, is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work at a correctional facility in Dillwyn, Virginia . These are registry positions with our company Staff Today.
36hrs Travel Package
Weekly Gross Pay = $1440
Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $40
Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $1099
Total Weekly ($1099 is not taxed)= $2539
Feels like per hour = $70.53
$2539 div 36 hours = $70.53
Job details:
- Day shift - 10 or 12 hour shifts (8: 00 AM – 6: 30 PM or 8: 00 AM – 8: 30 PM)
- Evening shift – 8 hour shifts (3: 00 PM – 11: 30 PM or 4: 00 PM - 12: 30 AM)
- Night shift – 10 hour shifts (10: 00 PM – 8: 30 AM)
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides general nursing care to patients.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
- Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of patients.
- Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient' s condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
- Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient.
- May make beds, bathe, and feed patients.
- May serve as leader for group of personnel rendering nursing care to number of patients.
- Additional RN duties given by Supervisor.
The requirements are:
- At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away
- A valid and current RN license issued by the State of VA
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
