Job Description

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work at a facility in Raymondville , TX. These are registry positions with our company.

Travel Pay Rate (Mon-Fri):
Weekly Gross Pay ($24.50 per hour x 36hr) = $882.00
Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay (pay lodging $770, M&I $476= $1, 246.00
Total Comp Pkg= $2, 128.00
Feels like per hour $2, 128.00/$36hr = $59.11

Travel Pay Rate (Weekend Fri 7pm-Mon 7am):
Weekly Gross Pay ($36 per hour x 36hr) = $1, 296.00
Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay (pay lodging $770, M&I $476= $1, 246.00
Total Comp Pkg= $2, 542.00
Feels like per hour $2, 542.00/$36hr = $70.61

Shift Details:

  • Nights
  • 6p to 6a (PRN only 4 shifts)
  • Friday, Saturday and Sunday

The requirements are:

  • At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • A valid and current RN license issued by the State of TX
  • Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. RN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides general nursing care to patients.
  • Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
  • Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of patients.
  • Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
  • Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient.
  • May make beds, bathe, and feed patients.
  • May serve as leader for group of personnel rendering nursing care to number of patients.
  • Additional RN duties given by Supervisor.
