Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a RN-Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to work at a facility in Sylmar, California. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $74 / hour
*W2
Shifts Available:
Days, Nights Weekends and Holidays
12 hours
Minimum of 2 shifts per week or as needed
Qualifications:
Ensure that profiles are submitted only for RNs who are fully committed to working a PACU per diem assignment.
Required certifications include active Registered Nurse license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must
be LA City), and proof of full COVID and seasonal Flu Vaccinations.
Ability to build rapport with patients
Compassionate and caring demeanor
Familiarity with medical terminology
CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
Must have up to date certification in the state of CA
Post Anesthesia Care Unit
MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior)
Fire Card
Assignment Information:
In need of Registered Nurses (RN) with a
minimum of two (2) years of PACU experience as a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit RN for providing total care to patients with various
injuries, illnesses, disabilities, and post-surgical procedures. In post-op, RN will care for semiconscious patients of all ages and acuity
such as observing patients for side effects of anesthesia throughout sedation recovery from the operating room and procedural areas.
RN will care for boarding of inpatients needing Intensive Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit/Step Down Unit, Telemetry and
Medical/Surgical levels of care. RNs will float within the assigned Facility;and/or from a DHS Facility to another DHS Facility as
needed;and/or be scheduled to a Workweek assignment between Facilities as needed.
