Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a RN - Med Surg/Telemetry to work at a facility in Torrance, California. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $58 / hour
*W2
Shifts Available:
- Days, Nights Weekends and Holidays
- 12 hours
- Minimum of 2 shifts per week or as needed
Nursing Specialty:
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a RN - Med Surg/Telemetry
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
- Must have up to date certification in the state of CA
- MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior)
- Fire Card
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and record patients'vital signs and telemetry readings.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Perform routine assessments and physical examinations.
- Assist with daily patient care activities (hygiene, mobility, nutrition).
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members.
- Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient charts.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families.
- Follow infection control and patient safety protocols.
