Job Description

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a RN - Labor and Delivery to work at a facility in Sylmar, California. These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $58 / hour
*W2

Shifts Available:

  • Days, Nights Weekends and Holidays
  • 12 hours
  • Minimum of 2 shifts per week or as needed

Nursing Specialty:

  • Labor and Delivery

Qualifications:

  • Ensure that profiles are submitted only for RNs who are fully committed to working a per diem assignments. 
  • Required certifications include active Registered Nurse license, AHA BLS, NIHSS Certification, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire 
    and Life Safety card (must be LA City), and proof of full COVID and seasonal Flu Vaccinations.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
  • Must have up to date certification in the state of CA
  • MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior)
  • Fire Card


Assignment Information:

In need of highly skilled 
Registered Nurses (RN) with a minimum of two (2) year of acute care setting experience as a Labor and Delivery RN. 
RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to women and newborns in various stages of pregnancy, labor, and postpartum 
in Labor and Delivery units. RN will require critical thinking, strong clinical skills, and the ability to support laboring patients 
in a dynamic, fast-paced environment of triage area, operating room suites, and recovery area. RNs will float within the 
assigned Facility;and/or from a DHS Facility to another DHS Facility as needed;and/or be scheduled to a Workweek 
assignment between Facilities as needed.
