Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a RN - ICU Surgical and Neuroscience to work at a facility in Albany, NY. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $70 / hour

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-years previous working experience as a RN - ICU Surgical and Neuroscience
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
- Must have up to date certification in the state of NY
- ICU at least 2 years level one trauma center
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess critically ill surgical and neuro patients
- Perform frequent neurological and vital sign checks
- Administer IV medications, drips, and pain management
- Assist with ventilators and other life-support equipment
- Provide wound care and post-operative monitoring
- Prepare patients for surgeries or procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, neurologists, and the ICU team
- Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Respond to emergencies and perform life-saving interventions
- Ensure infection control and patient safety at all times
