Job Description

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a RN - Critical Care to work at a facility in Torrance, California. These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $50 / hour
*W2

Shifts Available:

  • Days, Nights Weekends and Holidays
  • 12 hours
  • Minimum of 2 shifts per week or as needed

Qualifications:

  • Ensure that profiles are submitted only for RNs who are fully committed to working a Level 1 Trauma ICU per diem assignment. 
  • Required certifications include active Registered Nurse license, BLS/ACLS, NIHSS Certification, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life 
    Safety card (must be LA City), and proof of full COVID and seasonal Flu Vaccinations.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
  • Must have up to date certification in the state of CA
  • Level 1 Trauma Critical Care Required
  • MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior)
  • Fire Card


Assignment Information:

In need of Registered Nurses (RN) with a minimum 
of recent three (3) years of Level 1 Trauma ICU experience as a Critical Care RN providing care to patients from the initial assessment 
to end-of-life care. RNs are responsible for intense interventions, lifesaving treatments and complex care for patients with life-threatening 
illness or conditions. RNs may be floating to Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down Unit (SDU) and/or any lower level of care as needed 
to care for patients who are acutely ill with a variety of medical conditions such as recovering from surgery, and have a variety of other 
medical needs, thereby enabling intervention of life-threatening or emergency situations. RNs will float within the assigned Facility;and/or 
from a DHS Facility to another DHS Facility as needed;and/or be scheduled to a Workweek assignment between Facilities as needed.
