Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a RN - Critical Care (Pediatric) to work at a facility in Torrance, California. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $60 / hour
*W2
Shifts Available:
Days, Nights Weekends and Holidays
12 hours
Minimum of 2 shifts per week or as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a RN - Critical Care (Pediatric)
Ability to build rapport with patients
Compassionate and caring demeanor
Familiarity with medical terminology
CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
Must have up to date certification in the state of CA
Level 3 Pediatric Critical Care Required
MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior)
Fire Card
Responsibilities:
Monitor vital signs and assess the condition of critically ill children
Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed
Operate and monitor medical equipment (e.G., ventilators, monitors)
Provide emergency care during life-threatening situations
Collaborate with doctors and healthcare teams to create care plans
Support and educate families about the child's condition and care
Document patient information and nursing care accurately
Maintain a clean, safe, and child-friendly environment
Assist with procedures and tests
Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed
