Nursing care to cardiac telemetry patients (cardiac surgery, cardiac devices, catheterization, interventions, CHF, MI, ETC)
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)
EPIC, Client DASH MONITORS, TELEMETRY
Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Minimum of 2 years, able to read Tele monitors, basic cardiac rhythm experience.
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
ACLS, BLS, Basic Cardiac Rhythms
Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)
Med/Surg, Critical Care - will float before perm staff members
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
40 beds, 36 rooms
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)

Dress Code:
Solid colored scrubs, no color preference

New employee orientation based on HR reccomendations, 1-3 shifts orientation, EPIC computer charting on day 1 of orientation.
