Minimum Qualification:
Possesses a minimum of a master's degree in education or psychology, social work, or other related field. Be licensed in the state of Pennsylvania as an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker). Have a minimum of 5 years'experience providing therapeutic services to individuals who are dually diagnosed;IDD/MH.
Role Description:
Assignments may include the following:
Provide counseling and mental health services to individuals at the Selinsgrove Center
Evaluate and provide treatment or interventions for individuals based on their presenting needs
Provide group and individual therapy
Provide support services to the treatment team by reviewing care plans and working with team members to provide appropriate interventions to address the behaviors of distressed individuals
Provide crisis intervention when the need arises
Will provide in-service training as needed to the staff at the center concerning psychological needs and crisis intervention
Will attend treatment meetings as requested/needed
