Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to work at a facility in Williamsburg, VA . These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $170 / hour
*1099
Assignment:
Available to start immediately
3 -6 month assignment with the potential to extend
Full-time, 40 hour a week commitment with assigned office hours of Monday to Friday from 8: 00 a.M. To 5: 00 pm
Not approved for overtime
No weekends, no holidays, no on-call duty
Requires a 30-day notice to terminate the contract before the end of the assignment
Qualifications:
Autonomous license
Experience working with an acute adult inpatient population
Experience serving as Head of the Treatment Team
Comfortable working on an admissions unit with rapid turnover
Experience conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and forensic evaluations for competency restoration
Willing to provide cross coverage to other units if needed
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary treatment team
BLS Healthcare Provider certification is required
Inpatient Adult Population
Acute, adult, inpatient wards (male & female)
Forensic, NGRI, Civil patients
Long-term length of stay
Caseload: 40 patients per provider
Admissions/Discharges: 0-3 per month
PCP coverage provided
Full complement of interdisciplinary team members
