Health Advocates Network is seeking a Paraprofessional to work at a school district in Hemet, CA. This is a registry position with our company.
Shifts Available:
- Various
- May require split AM and PM shifts. Split shift hours may start as early as 5 am and end as late as 7 pm.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum one year (12 months) of experience as a Paraprofessional.
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
Duties:
- Deliver feedback which contributes to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences.
- Maintain effective and efficient record keeping procedures.
- Provide a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, parents/guardians, and other professionals on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with peers to enhance the overall quality of feedback.
- Model professional and ethical standards when dealing with students, parents/guardians, peers, and the community.
- Assume responsibility for meeting their grading assignments as set forth by the Instructional Leader.
- Maintain a thorough understanding in the curriculum of course that is being supported and the school-wide student performance goals.
- Provide services in person at the assigned facility to meet the needs of students
- Serve as an instructional facilitator or substitute at the discretion of the Instructional Leader.
- Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrating respect for others.
- All work responsibilities are subject to having performance goals and/or targets established
Special Notes: These positions will support Special Education students on the bus and or within the classroom.
