Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Paralegal to work at a facility in New York, New York. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $30 / hour
*W2
Shift details:
M-F 37.5hrs per week, 9-5
1. Minimum Candidate Qualifications:
The candidate must have a minimum of:
a. Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree;
b. Paralegal Certificate;and
c. Eligible to work in New York State
2. Job Description and Required Services:
Take over current IT functions with regard to running hearings, including sending out invites, uploading exhibits, calling up exhibits during the hearing
Review responses received to investigatory letters, upload to file
Assist with drafting stipulations and fine offers under supervision of attorneys
Obtain licensing records for investigations and hearings
Prepare exhibits for hearings

In addition, the candidate must possess and/or have the ability to:
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task
Excellent writing skills
*Telecommuting may be allowed at the discretion of the hiring manager. *The Department does not provide parking, but the office is accessible by subway or bus.
