Job Description
Staff Today, a HAN Division, is currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to work at a facility in Stockton , California . These are registry positions with our company Staff Today.
Pay Rate: $20 / hour
Job Details:
- Area: Medical OT-8HR Class: PHTEC Shift: 2 Start: 14: 00: 00 End: 22: 30: 00
Responsibilities:
- Compound and dispense prescribed medication
- Advise physicians and health practitioners on the interactions and side effects of medication
- Provide patients with pertinent drug information
- Proactively review prescriptions for proper dosage
- Supervise and maintain records of all medications
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 36 months (3yrs) as a Pharmacy Technician
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- BLS/CPR
- Must have up to date certification in CA
