Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Radiation Therapist to work at a Facility in Philadelphia, PA. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $60.38 / hour
Shift Details:
8:00am-4:30pm
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 2 years with experience in Radiation Therapy, Proton and/or CT/SIMS a plus.
A valid and current license issued by the state of PA
A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.
Job Responsibilities:
Administer radiation treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist
Position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment
Monitor patients during treatment sessions
Explain procedures and answer patient questions
Ensure accurate treatment delivery and patient safety
Maintain and check radiation therapy machines
Record treatment details and update patient records
Observe patients for side effects and report concerns
Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff
Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
