Local Pay: $73.02/hour

Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Perform routine laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other body fluid specimens.

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments.

  • Collect, process, and prepare specimens for analysis.

  • Accurately record and report laboratory test results.

  • Perform quality control procedures to ensure reliable and accurate test results.

  • Follow laboratory safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Maintain laboratory supplies and equipment inventory.

  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

  • Document laboratory procedures and maintain accurate patient records.

  • Ensure compliance with facility policies and accreditation standards.


Minimum Qualifications 


  • Current, valid, and unrestricted OR license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a MLT.

  • Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
