Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform routine laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other body fluid specimens.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments.
Collect, process, and prepare specimens for analysis.
Accurately record and report laboratory test results.
Perform quality control procedures to ensure reliable and accurate test results.
Follow laboratory safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines.
Maintain laboratory supplies and equipment inventory.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
Document laboratory procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
Ensure compliance with facility policies and accreditation standards.
Minimum Qualifications
Current, valid, and unrestricted OR license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a MLT.
Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
