Shift Details:
Shift is 7.5 hours after an unpaid lunch break.
Shift will be either 8:30AM - 4:30PM or 9AM – 5PM and can be discussed further at an interview.
Dietitian Duties & Responsibilities:
Reviews and evaluates food service and nutrition programs in childcare centers, day care homes, adult day cares, after-school programs, and shelters.
Conducts on-site program reviews to assess compliance with CACFP requirements and regulations.
Provides training and technical assistance on meal planning, record keeping, and program regulations.
Reviews and approves or disapproves corrective action plans.
Ensures compliance with Federal and State nutrition and food service regulations.
Maintains strong organization, communication, and time management skills.
Uses Microsoft Office and other computer applications for program documentation and reporting.
Must hold a Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
Position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
May require monthly travel within the assigned region.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current, valid, and unrestricted NY license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
Candidates must be a Registered Dietitian (RD), certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
Minimum of one (1) year related experience.
Additional certifications may be required.
Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
