Job Description
Staff Today, a HAN Division, is currently seeking a Recreational Therapist to work at a facility in Vacaville, California . These are registry positions with our company Staff Today.
Pay Rate: $38 / hour

CERTIFICATES ACCEPTED FROM THE NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR THERAPUTIC CERTIFICATON (NCTRC) OR THE CALIFORNIA BOARD OF RECREATON AND PARK CERTIFICATION (CBRPC)
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs
- Consider medical records
- Personal observation and talks with the patient and his or her loved ones
- Execute a therapeutic program targeted toward what that patient requires most
- Keep current on communal and therapeutic resources available to best help the patients
- Document a patient' s progress during their activities
- Other duties assigned my supervisor
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 36 months (3yrs) as a Recreational Therapist
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
