Job Description
Staff Today, a HAN Division, is currently seeking a Medical Records Technician (CNA) to work at a facility in Canon City, Colorado. These are registry positions with our company Staff Today.
Pay Rate: $16 / hour
Responsibilities:
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene; escorting, transporting, or accompanying clients;
- Assisting clients with ADL' s/lADL' s such as bathing, grooming, functional mobility, dressing, and toileting;
- Answering call lights and attending to routine health needs;
- Assisting with routine nursing care;
- Providing general health information;
- Observing and reporting client behavior;
- Positions work under the direction of nursing or medical staff;
- Positions may require current, valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant from the Colorado Board of Nursing
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year previous working as a Medical Records Technician (CNA)
- QMAP not required
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
- Must have up to date certification in the state of CO
