Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to work at a facility in Tacoma, WA. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $36 / hour
*W2
Shift: Nights(full time), IMMEDIATE NEED FOR OVERNIGHT SHIFT
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform a full range of clinical laboratory tests in any one or a combination of the following sections of the laboratory: hematology, chemistry, cytology, histotechnology, urinalysis, serology, microbiology, phlebotomy or transfusion and blood bank
- Heavy Phlebotomy while assisting in the PSS lab during PCS season
- Prepare specimens for analysis and ensure that the physiologic state of the properties is maintained
- Calibrate, standardize, adjust, and maintain instruments
- Verify correct instrument operation using established procedures and quality control checks
Qualifications
- Laboratory Technician Certification
- ASCP Certification or AMT Certification
- 6 months of experience rotation through all sections of a medical laboratory
- Must be team oriented and willing to assist in other labs as needed
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- NACI background check
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
