Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Med Tech- Long Term Care to work at a facility in Canistota, SD. These are registry positions with our company.
Days or nights: Days
Shift: 6: 00am - 2: 30pm, M- F
Pay Per Hour: $27.50
Requirements:
The requirements are: At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Med Tech.
Certificate to work as a medical technician.
Advanced knowledge of biology and chemistry.
Proven experience working with various medical equipment and tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding presentation and analytical abilities.
Common responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Collecting and preparing blood, urine, and tissue samples for analysis.
Examining collected samples and identifying any cell abnormalities.
Maintaining laboratory inventory levels and, if necessary, placing orders for new supplies.
Preparing detailed reports about your test results and findings.
Documenting and reviewing the tested data.
Ensuring that all tissue samples are prepped for examination.
Collaborating with pathologists and other medical specialists to determine the correct diagnosis if cell abnormalities are discovered.
Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Presenting test results to physicians, researchers, and/or patients.
