Diagnostic Mammography / Radiology TechnologistLocation: King City, CAFacility: Mee Memorial Healthcare SystemEmployment Type: Full-Time | Non-ExemptJob SummaryMee Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Mammography / Radiology Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. This role is responsible for performing high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care across all age groups. The technologist will collaborate closely with radiologists and other imaging professionals to ensure accurate imaging, efficient workflow, and an exceptional patient experience.JD Diagnostic Mammography-Radio�Key ResponsibilitiesPerform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with established protocolsEnsure proper positioning, image quality, and adherence to ALARA radiation safety principlesReview physician orders and coordinate imaging exams with radiologists and other imaging modalitiesTrack and retrieve prior mammography images for comparison and interpretationProvide patient education on breast health and self-examinationServe as a technical resource for breast imaging, quality control, and equipment operationAdvocate for patients by coordinating care to minimize inconvenience and delaysParticipate in departmental committees and assist with outreach and mammography service promotionSupport Bone Density exams and assist with CT, General X-Ray, and Fluoroscopy/OR procedures as neededTake call as assigned and perform other duties as requiredRequired QualificationsARRT registration in Radiography and MammographyActive California Radiologic Technologist LicenseActive California Mammographic Technologist LicenseActive California Fluoroscopic Radiologic Technologist LicenseAmerican Heart Association (AHA) BLS CertificationCalifornia Venipuncture Certificate (required within 3 months of hire)Minimum of 5 years of mammography technologist experiencePhysical & Work RequirementsAbility to stand and walk 4�6 hours per dayAbility to bend, reach, crouch, balance, and push equipment as neededAbility to lift up to 35 poundsExposure to blood, body fluids, infectious diseases, and chemical agentsProvide care to patients across the lifespanWhy Mee Memorial Healthcare SystemCollaborative, community-focused healthcare environmentOpportunity to work across multiple imaging modalitiesCommitment to patient-centered care and professional excellenceMee Memorial Healthcare System is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, age, sex, disability, or national origin.
