Job Description
Staff Today, a HAN Division, is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a facility in Williamsburg, Virginia . This is a registry position in which working for Staff Today at the state facility.
48hrs Travel Package
Weekly Gross Pay = $768
Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $16
Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $1246
Total Weekly ($1246 is not taxed)= $2014
Feels like per hour = $41.96
$2014 div 48 hours = $41.96
Shifts Available:
- 12-hour shifts: 7a- 7: 30pm or 7p- 730am.
- 4- 12 hour shifts per week (a 48 hour workweek), working every other weekend.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Provide companionship and basic care to patients
- Administer prescribed medications to patients
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum one year (12 months) of previous working experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away
- Must have up to date credentials in the state of Virginia
- Most recent PPD results
- American Heart Association (BLS CPR Card) *Please note BLS MUST be completed through the American Heart Association, we cannot accept any other CPR certifications
- Copy of Hepatitis B vaccination (if you have readily available)
- Proof of flu shot/mist (October through March)
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
