Job Description
Staff Today Inc. (STI) is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a Hospital in Weston, WV. These are registry positions with our company Staff Today Inc.
Pay Rate: $35 / hour
Shift Details:
- Monday - Friday from 7: 30AM to 4: 00pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Will report to the Quality Management Department.
- Assist the RNs that are over infection control and employee health for staff/patient vaccinations.
- Fit testing for N-95 masks for employees.
- Any covid testing if it would be required again.
- Go to new hire orientation every 2 weeks and help gather documents and give vaccinations.
- Covid follow-up documentation for any staff/patient that tested positive for Covid.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one year (12 months) previous working experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Must have up to date credentials in the state of WV
- A valid and current BLS card (American Heart Association)
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
Notes:
- This is an office position, but candidates must go through ALL new hire required for a LPN. Which includes precepting on a unit for 40 hours during orientation.
