Job Description
Staff Today Inc. (STI) is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a facility in Weston, WV. These are registry positions with our company Staff Today Inc.
Pay Rate: $35 / hour
Shift Details:
- Work all three shifts. (Morning, evening, and midnights.)
- 20 hours of overtime if needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
- Will service in the role as a LPN Ambassador.
- Will help with patient activities including groups, Sharpe Hospital Mall, and keeping the patients active.
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Provide companionship and basic care to patients
- Administer prescribed medications to patients
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one year (12 months) previous working experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Must have up to date credentials in the state of WV
- A valid and current BLS card (American Heart Association)
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
