Job Description
Staff Today, a HAN Division, is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a Facility in Walla Walla, Washington. These are registry positions with our company Staff Today.
40hrs Travel Package
Weekly Gross Pay = $1280
Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $32
Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $1099
Total Weekly ($1099 is not taxed)= $2379
Feels like per hour = $59.48
$2379 div 40 hours = $59.48
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Provide companionship and basic care to patients
- Administer prescribed medications to patients
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum one year (12 months) of previous working experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away
- Must have up to date credentials in the state of Washington
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
