Staff Today, a HAN Division, is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at Correctional Institution in Raleigh, North Carolina. This is a registry position with our company Staff Today.
Pay Rate: $45 / hour
Shifts Available:
FT DAYS (6a-6: 30pm) including every other weekend.
FT NIGHTS (6p-6: 30am) including every other weekend.
Job Responsibilities:
Duties will include med passes.
Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
Maintain accurate patient medical records
Provide companionship and basic care to patients
Administer prescribed medications to patients
Minimum Qualifications:
At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
A valid and current LPN license issued by the state of North Carolina
A valid and current BLS provider card (American Heart Association)
DPS Experience a plus, however not a requirement, we cannot hire new graduate nurse s, as we need nurses who are experienced and require minimum orientation ASAP.
