Job Description
Staff Today, a HAN Division, is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at Correctional Institution in Raleigh, North Carolina. This is a registry position with our company Staff Today.
Pay Rate: $45 / hour
Shifts Available:
- FT DAYS (6a-6: 30pm) including every other weekend.
- FT NIGHTS (6p-6: 30am) including every other weekend.
Job Responsibilities:
- Duties will include med passes.
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Provide companionship and basic care to patients
- Administer prescribed medications to patients
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- A valid and current LPN license issued by the state of North Carolina
- A valid and current BLS provider card (American Heart Association)
- DPS Experience a plus, however not a requirement, we cannot hire new graduate nurse s, as we need nurses who are experienced and require minimum orientation ASAP.
