Job Description
Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a Facility in Newport, Kentucky. These are registry positions with our company.
40hrs Travel Package
Weekly Gross Pay = $480
Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $12
Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $959 (Hotel-616 Meals-343)
Total Weekly ($959 is not taxed)= $1439
Feels like per hour = $35.98
$1439 div 40 hours = $35.98
Shift Details:
- 6-2 and/or 12-8
- Full Time
- Weekend
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Provide companionship and basic care to patients
- Administer prescribed medications to patients
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one year (12 months) previous working experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Must have up to date credentials in the state of Kentucky
- Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away
- A valid and current BLS card (American Heart Association)
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
