Job Description
Staff Today, a HAN Division, is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a Facility in Model, Colorado . This is a registry position with Staff Today.
Pay Rate: $29 / hour
Shifts Available:
- 40 hours a week or 36 hrs per week as long as it doesn' t accrue OT hours
- Hours could vary week to week but would primarily be Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, 0600-1900 or 0600-1800
- 13 week contract.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Provide companionship and basic care to patients
- Administer prescribed medications to patients
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one year (12 months) previous working experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Must have up to date credentials in the state of CO
- A valid and current BLS card (American Heart Association)
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
