Weekly Gross Pay = $540
Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $15
Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $728 (Hotel-420 Meals-308)
Total Weekly ($728 is not taxed)= $1268

Shift Details:
- 1 LPNs, three 12-hour night shifts, 7 pm—7: 30 am with every other weekend (Weekend includes--Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
Qualifications:
- At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- A valid and current LPN license issued by the state of North Carolina
- A valid and current BLS provider card (American Heart Association)
- Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. LPN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English.
- With experience in wound care will be considered.
- Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Perform routine patient assessments and document findings accurately.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and maintain proper documentation of medication administration.
- Regularly monitor and record patients'vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respiration rate.
- Assist with wound care, dressings, and rehabilitation procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, progress, and assessments using electronic medical records (EMR) or other designated systems.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, registered nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary team, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about healthcare procedures, medications, and post-treatment care instructions to promote effective self-management and recovery.
- Follow established infection control protocols, including proper hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe disposal of medical waste.
- Act swiftly and effectively during emergencies, implementing appropriate nursing intervention and alerting the appropriate personnel as necessary.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintains compliance and complies with annual requirements
- Successfully completes required employment-related documentation, testing, and screenings in a timely manner
