Job Description

Health Advocates Network is actively seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at a correctional facility in Shelton, Washington. This is a registry position, ideal for those looking for flexible work opportunities. We offer travel stipends to help cover your expenses. 0hrs Travel Package
Weekly Gross Pay = $1200
Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $30
Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $1246 (Hotel-770 Meals-476)

Total Weekly ($1246 is not taxed)= $2446
Feels like per hour = $61.15
$2446 div 40 hours = $61.15

Shift Details:

  • Tue-Sat 1400-2230
  • Friday-Mon 2200-0830
  • Sun-Thursday 1400-2230
  • Tue-Sat 0200-1030

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least one year (12 months) previous working experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Must have up to date credentials in the state of Washington
  • A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
  • Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
  • Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient medical records
  • Provide companionship and basic care to patients
  • Administer prescribed medications to patients
