must provide flexibility for 13 shifts
To
be eligible for privileges in Emergency Department (ED) Overflow, the applicant
must meet at least one of the following criteria:
•
Completion of an ACGME or AOA approved postgraduate training program in family
practice, emergency medicine, or medicine/pediatrics. The applicant must also
be able to demonstrate that he or she has been in active practice within the
last two years. OR
•
Current enrollment in and successful completion of at least one year of an
ACGME or AOA approved postgraduate training program in a general primary care
specialty (to include family practice;emergency medicine;medicine/pediatrics;
internal medicine;pediatrics;or "rotating") Residency Director
approval must also be obtained. OR
•
One year of an ACGME or AOA approved postgraduate training program in a general
primary care specialty (to include family practice;emergency medicine;
medicine/pediatrics;internal medicine;pediatrics;or "rotating")
and active full-time practice in general primary care for at least two
years. AND
•OK license in hand
•
OBNDD with CNHS address, OK DEA with CNHS address (must obtain)
•
Procedure Logs (always requested)
·Ability to managecare for adult and pediatric patients overflow setting
·May include someadditional time for completion of medical records, training and staff meetings
·Cerner experiencepreferred, but not req.
·BLS, ACLS, PALSreq.
·Peds Experiencereq.
·Preferred locumexperience: Cerner and ED
·ED experience-open to candidate who has graduated recently and rotated through ED duringclinical rotations
·Shifts: 8a-8p, 10a-10p, 11a-11p, 12p-12a
·Weekdays and weekends, 13+shifts per month
·Number of beds: 17
·Patient Ratios: 1: 6 or less
