Job Description
Staff Today, a HAN Division, is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a Correctional Facility in Morgantown, North Carolina . These are registry positions with our company Staff Today.
Pay Rate: $45 / hour
Shifts Available:
- 6p-630a Nights 12 hours
- Or 11am-11pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Provide companionship and basic care to patients
- Administer prescribed medications to patients
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one year (12 months) previous working experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Must have up to date credentials in the state of North Carolina
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
Specialty Needed:
- Must have prior experience (Medical/Surgical/ER/Mental Health, etc
