Job Description
Staff Today, a HAN Division, is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a Correctional Facility in Burgaw, North Carolina. These are registry positions with our company Staff Today.
36hrs Travel Package
Weekly Gross Pay = $360
Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $10
Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $637
Total Weekly ($637 is not taxed)= $997
Feels like per hour = $27.69
$997 div 36 hours = $27.69
Job Details:
- 6pm - 6: 30am Nights 12 hours
- 12 hr night shift nurses. (6p-6a or 10p-6a)
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Provide companionship and basic care to patients
- Administer prescribed medications to patients
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one year (12 months) previous working experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Must have up to date credentials in the state of North Carolina
- Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Correctional Experience is highly recommended
