Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Healthcare Technician work at a facility in Canon City, CO. This is a registry position with our company.
Pay Rate: $42 / hour
*W2
Job Responsibilities:
Will be working with the RTP program and handling medications.
Assisting patients with daily activities (bathing, dressing, mobility)
Preparing medical equipment and supplies
Collecting lab samples (e.G., blood, urine)
Keeping patient records updated
Ensuring a clean and safe environment
Minimum Qualifications:
At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Healthcare Technician
A valid and current RN license issued by the State of Colorado
A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
Colorado Board of Nursing is the governing authority for psychiatric technicians and all applicants must have an active psychiatric technician license issued by the BON/DORA. Board of Nursing: Laws, Rules, and Policies, Psychiatric Technician Practice Act defines, "(4) "Practice as a psychiatric technician "means the performance for compensation of selected acts requiring interpersonal and technical skills and includes the administering of selected treatments and selected medications prescribed by a licensed physician or dentist, in the care of and in the observation and recognition of symptoms and reactions of a patient with a behavioral or mental health disorder or an intellectual and developmental disability under the direction of a licensed physician and the supervision of a registered professional nurse. The selected acts in the care of a patient with a behavioral or mental health disorder or an intellectual and developmental disability must not require the substantial specialized skill, judgment, and knowledge required in professional nursing.
