Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a RN - Med Surg/Telemetry to work at a facility in Torrance, California. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $58 / hour
*W2
Shifts Available:
Days, Nights Weekends and Holidays
12 hours
Minimum of 2 shifts per week or as needed
Nursing Specialty:
Med Surg/Telemetry
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a RN - Med Surg/Telemetry
Ability to build rapport with patients
Compassionate and caring demeanor
Familiarity with medical terminology
CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
Must have up to date certification in the state of CA
MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior)
Fire Card
Responsibilities:
Monitor and record patients'vital signs and telemetry readings.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Perform routine assessments and physical examinations.
Assist with daily patient care activities (hygiene, mobility, nutrition).
Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members.
Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient charts.
Provide emotional support to patients and families.
Follow infection control and patient safety protocols.
