Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a RN - Neuro Progressive Care to work at a facility in Albany, NY. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $70 / hour

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-years previous working experience as a RN - Neuro Progressive Care
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
- Must have up to date certification in the state of NY
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients with neurological conditions (stroke, brain injury, seizures, etc.)
- Perform frequent neurological checks and document patient status
- Administer medications, including IV drips and neuro-specific treatments
- Assist with diagnostic tests (CT scans, MRIs) and prepare patients for procedures
- Collaborate with neurologists and the healthcare team on care plans
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and recovery
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
- Manage patient safety, especially for those at risk of falls or seizures
- Assist with activities of daily living if needed
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and emergencies
