Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a RN- Pulmonary Surgery to work at a facility in Albany, NY. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $70 / hour

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-years previous working experience as a RN- Pulmonary Surgery
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
- Must have up to date certification in the state of NY
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients before and after lung or chest surgeries
- Assess respiratory status and manage oxygen therapy
- Administer medications, including pain management and antibiotics
- Assist with chest tube care and drainage systems
- Educate patients about breathing exercises and recovery care
- Perform wound care and dressing changes
- Collaborate with surgeons, pulmonologists, and respiratory therapists
- Teach patients and families about home care and follow-up
- Monitor for complications like infections or breathing difficulties
- Maintain detailed patient records and reports
