Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a RN - Maternal Special Care to work at a facility in Albany, NY. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $60 / hour

Shifts Available:
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-years previous working experience as a RN - Maternal Special Care
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
- Must have up to date certification in the state of NY
Responsibilities:
- Monitor mothers with high-risk pregnancies
- Assess vital signs and fetal heart rates
- Administer medications and IV fluids as needed
- Provide emotional support and education to mothers and families
- Assist with prenatal tests and procedures
- Collaborate with obstetricians and maternal-fetal specialists
- Prepare patients for labor, delivery, or surgery if needed
- Monitor for signs of complications (preterm labor, preeclampsia, etc.)
- Document patient conditions and care provided
- Educate mothers about postpartum care and newborn care basics
